Add an image and description to an IDX market page

With some basic HTML code, it is possible to insert an image and a description below the heading on individual IDX market pages.

Follow these instructions if you are comfortable copying and pasting HTML code.

Upload the image

1. Go to Control Panel > Advanced > Show images
2. Click Upload image at the bottom of the window.
3. Choose an image file to upload.
4. Set the image width. 600 is a good starting point for a large image, but feel free to experiment.
5. Click upload image.
6. A list of uploaded images will be displayed. Click the image that you uploaded.
7. HTML code will be displayed below your uploaded image. Copy the code to your clipboard.

Update the market page

1. Go to Control Panel > IDX > Markets, then click the market you wish to edit.
2. Click the Settings tab.
3. Paste the HTML from your clipboard into the Webpage Intro Text box.
4. Click Save.
5. Go to your website and check your work on the market page. Reload the page if you do not see the changes you made.

Add a description

If you want to include text with your image, and you want to wrap the text around the image, modify your HTML code using the instructions below.

Your image HTML will look like this:

Modify your pasted HTML by carefully adding the highlighted sections below.
